Receivers, Control Panels and Keypads
To help you determine which receiver or keypad is suitable for your application, we have categorised our receivers and keypads
into fixed-based units (i.e. those that are screwed into the wall) and into portable units (i.e. those you can carry around with
your, which is useful if outside in the garden). Features and restrictions, such as the number of specific zone areas that can be
allocated to a particular receiver or keypad is described below:
Roboguard wall-mounted keypad with separate wireless receiver and speaker unit
A Roboguard wall-mounted Keypad provides a simple user interface with your outdoor security
system. A Keypad can monitor up to four assigned sensor input signals with individual zone, tamper and supervision LED’s.
Zones can be simply armed and disarmed directly on the keypad. A 2-way screw terminal is provided to connect an optional buzzer or
speaker unit to give you audible alerts.
The keypad also acts as an integrated control panel and has six output ports that allows you to configure each port individually
to, for example, monitor individual intruder, tamper and supervision signals as well as provide 2 remote output channels pulse
separate external systems, such as an alarm panel with a remote control key fob.
The keypad requires a separate Roboguard Universal receiver to receive the encrypted radio communication signals from the outdoor
sensors.

Roboguard portable handheld / desktop receiver unit (Roboguard HQ)
The Roboguard HQ is an 8 zone decoder panel, with integrated wireless receiver, specifically designed to alert the end user that a potential intruder has been detected by a Roboguard outdoor sensor.
The Roboguard HQ essentially functions as a complete security system which has four highly configurable output channels, a
dedicated siren output with the option for a remote arming and disarm function with a Roboguard wireless key fob.
The Roboguard HQ has an internal NICAD 6V battery which can provide up to 15 hours of autonomy without mains power. This makes it
a useful portable device which can be carried around with you. It typically operates off a twenty five hour charge cycle.
Incorporated with the HQ is the battery charger, a removable cable for the output switches and an Allan key for disassembly.
