Telematic Systems
Telematic systems combine Automatic Vehicle Location data, from a GPS (global positioning system) receiver, with addition vehicle
intelligence, such as vibration data, temperature, engine performance, etc. and then transmits that information via
WIMAX/GSM/GPRS/EDGE wireless protocols to a back-office or cloud based system for real-time operations and logistics
management.
Telematics is more than simply knowing “where we are”. For organisations it is about understanding asset utilisation,
performance and efficiency in much greater detail. It allows significant enhancement capability to the ubiquitous “track-
and-trace” customer service offering. It is also a tool that can be used for regulation, real-time monitoring and for
enforcement. Already there are moves in the commercial vehicle market for the introduction of a range of “pay-as-you-drive

PJM Waggon TrackerTM
Telematic solution for rail Freight Wagons with integrated generator
The PJM Waggon Tracker provides remote monitoring of freight wagons. Position tracking of the rail vehicle
is done via GPS antenna, with the GPS receiver powered by a generator which is integrated in the axle box. This unique design
allows retrofitting existing freight car fleets with very low effort. Having a reliable power source removes the constraints of
power management and the trade-off required between battery longevity and frequency of information transmitted.
The position data is transmitted to a server via GSM modem and regular intervals. The server makes the rail vehicle position data,
along with a set of other important parameters available to the user on the Internet.
The Waggon Tracker unit can be integrated with a range of analogue and digital sensors to provide a complete remote monitoring
solution. This provides a range of real-time monitoring benefits and events (such as passed locations, parking position, used
track lines, usage behaviour, vehicle theft, etc.)

Teltonika AT1000 Asset Tracker

Teltonika FM2200 AVL TERMINAL
FM2200 is a small light automatic vehicle location (AVL) terminal with GPS and GSM connectivity. It is able
to get the device’s coordinates and other input data and transfer this information via GSM network. This device is perfectly
suitable for applications where location acquirement of remote objects is needed. So you can track your remote objects (trucks,
cars, ships etc.) quickly and easily.
FM2200 is able to perform monitoring on remote objects equipment, such as engine, truck doors’ and other digital sensors
status.
In case of loosing connection FM2200 can store up to 15000 records, and once the connection is established the device will send stored data via GPRS. So you will not lose your data (coordinates, sensors data and etc.).
